What is Big Time?
Big Time is an upcoming multiplayer action RPG where you team up with friends online to adventure across space and time. As they battle across history, players will earn collective NFT “skins,” or characters and their various subtypes that can be traded for real value.
Players will essentially team up with friends in game, and travel about the world entering dungeons and overcoming challenges to attain valuable loot.
The plot of Big Time revolves around the familiar “a rift in time” theme. Players can utilize the “Timelines” system to evolve their character along multiple “class paths,” and switch to their desired class on the fly. This allows for a multitude of ways players can create rare NFT collectibles, simply by playing the game.
About the Big Time Team:
Big Time is being developed by perhaps the most successful, “big time,” (pardon the pun) AAA game developers in the crypto gaming space. Their arsenal of creatives include Ari Meilich of Decentraland, Thor Alexander of EA, Matt Tonks of Fortnite, and the list doesn’t end there… even Brian Alexander the lead writer of Blade Runner 2049 bolsters the team.
Big Time Tokenomics:
Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of Big Time is that it aims to be a more accessible crypto game, without its own token system. The crypto aspect of the game will center solely around the collectible NFT’s in game. This means the game will not be pay to win. Some will argue this non-tokenized approach takes away some of the play to earn appeal in exchange for a simpler interface and more mass appeal.
However, that does not mean players won’t be able to profit from their hard fought hours playing inside the game. There will be collective weapons, suits, “time machines,” and other “cosmetic” items within the game, all of which will be tradable on the marketplace.
How to Get Involved Early in Big Time:
Given that there is no utility token for the game there will be no ICO. Getting involved early means being an early player who can purchase, or develop a rare and desirable NFT collectible(s).
