About Cosmic Universe
Following the success of Defi Kingdoms, Harmony blockchain has shown it can be a leader in the play to earn gaming space. The next big game coming to Harmony is well underway in its development–Cosmic Universe.
Cosmic Universe is an immersive fantasy metaverse MMORPG wherein players explore realms, mine, harvest, build increasingly-advanced settlements, and engage in PVP battles and other competitions.
Aside from being able to earn the two ecosystem tokens known as $COSMIC and $MAGIC, Cosmic Universe provides players with full ownership of their NFT characters and land plots. Players will be able to create, trade, and monetize NFTs and other in-game features.
Land Plots
In this fantasy world a scalable metaverse will start out with one planet and “expand to many more in the future.” Cosmic Island, the first land map released on the homeworld of Planet Crypton, is 5km x 5km. This is divided into five major regions.
At the center of Cosmic Island is the central city of Enchanteria. This is the hub of everything from special events to an immersive 3D financial center connected to OneFi Exchange hosting GameFi interactions. The only prebuilt structures in Cosmic Universe exist inside this central city. Meanwhile, all others are going to be built by the players as they see fit.
There are 5 major types of land on Cosmic Island. These are:
- Elysian Fields — 32% — 2364 Plots — Located in the Central part of Cosmic Island
- Enchanted Forest — 31% — 2303 Plots — Located on the Eastern side of Cosmic Island
- Mystic Alpines — 24% — 1825 Plots — Located on the Western side of Cosmic Island
- Forest of Whimsy — 8% — 568 Plots — Located on the Northern side of Cosmic Island
- Cosmic Enchanters — 5% — 400 Plots — Located in the very center of Cosmic Island
The following is a ballpark estimate of approximately how much land in each region will cost to mint:
Elysian Fields — $100 each
Enchanted Forest — $250 each
Mystic Alpines — $350 each
Forest of Whimsy — $700 each
The Creators of Cosmic Universe
The team of Cosmic Universe is currently anonymous. However their founder listed as “Wizzard Blizzard,” has been involved in the cryptocurrency space since 2013. Wizzard Blizzard was part of the original Ethereum DAO. He went on to later become a part of Aragon, a blockchain project specializing in helping other projects create their own DAOs.
Notably, their chief strategist, the mysterious “Mr. M,” worked for 10+ years as an Intelligence Analyst for the United States Air Force and Supply Chain Management Coordinator. He is currently a licensed financial advisor.

The Tokenomics
There are two tokens to keep on your radar: $COSMIC and $MAGIC. From a basic understanding, $COSMIC will be more of an in-game rewards token, while $MAGIC will be more of the DEFI staking token and will be used to purchase land.
How to Get Involved
While the NFT wizards are currently sold out, the land sale is tentatively scheduled to begin in February. In the meantime you can invest in the game tokens, including $MAGIC which will be used to buy land.
