All About the The Animal.Farm
Layer 2 of the Drip Garden has expanded the content of the previous article and video–The Animal Farm has arrived.
The Animal Farm is the first deflationary, fully decentralized ownership yieldfarm/lending protocol. Participants earn as an owner of the network.
TheAnimal.Farm Tokenomics
There are two “Core” liquidity pool tokens: one is the $PIG token and the other is the %DOG. In the lighthearted lore of the “Animal Farm” DeFi game, the Pigs have started a revolt. The REV token, whose liquidity pool has now been pulled, was used to purchase Pigs and their loyal servants, Dogs. Pigs become the owners of the platform, similar to how the Pigs owned the Animal Farm in George Orwell’s famous novel.
The token utility of Pigs is that they can be staked in the Pig Pen where they earn their stakers an indefinitely time allocated share of the taxes and fees from the platform, paid in the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) stable coin $BUSD.
The utility of $DOGS that they can be staked in “Core Pools” and “Core Farms” to earn $PIGS. The price of $DOGS and $PIGS peaked at about $180 and $800 dollars respectively. They’ve settled to a support zone above $100 and $300 as of today 2/7/22.
Dynamic emission rates based on current demand appreciates the price of DOGS and PIGS in all market conditions.
Full governance protocol gives owners of Pigs voting rights.
Pigs stakers also participate in a system in which collateral staked on the platform is “rehypothecated to Pancakeswap’s lending protocol” to help earn additional yield, which then is used by the Treasury to buy back DOGS and PIGS directly from the market and sending them to a burn address.
Millions in BUSD rewards already in the vault ready to pay out the high yield BUSD dividend and buy the DOGS, PIGS directly off the market removing them from circulation.

There are also many other LP token options with solid %APR, such as Dogs/BUSD and Dogs/BNB.
