Illuvium Zero: Land Sale – Up to Date Intel Brief

What is Illuvium Zero?

Illuvium is the most highly anticipated NFT game of all time, with its token ILV reaching a value of over $1200 at the time of this writing. Illuvium Zero was first proposed as a mini-game in the city building genre that would come out prior to the main Illuvium game. The purpose was to simply provide a bit of entertainment (ab0ut 30-60 minutes per day) and help promote the main game. However, soon the concept developed into an exciting play to earn opportunity in its own right. The developers of Illuvium decided to have the mini-game interface with the main game, and even provide resources such as “fuel,” and “blueprints,” making the land and buildings that can be purchased in Illuvium Zero highly sought commodities.

By purchasing land and acquiring buildings, players of Illuvium Zero will be able to provide the resources other players will need to play the main Illuvium game. Thus you will literally be able to run a profitable business by owning the land and developing in-game resources.

Players will also be able to “scan” for the mysterious monsters known as Illuvials, and develop blueprints that will help them once they play the main Illuvium game.

Illuvium Zero Game Details

The testing period for Illuvium Zero will be free. This means anyone can play even if they never purchased a land plot. However, maximum benefits will go to those are able to purchase land.

Over the course of five land sales, there will be a total of 100,000 land plots sold, but millions of players. This alone shows us how valuable owning the land plots will be.

Land comes with a total of six tiers, from Tier 0 -Tier 5. Tier Zero will be known as “virtual land,” and will be available to everyone whether or not they actually purchase a land plot. Tier One and higher offer blockchain compatibility, and thus earning potential. The tiers will be decided depending on the number of element sites, fuel sites, the presence or lack of a landmark on the plot.

According to Aaron Warwick (lead game designer) in the Illuvium Discord channels, players with Tier 1-5 land can build things on their land, some of which will have the ability to generate resources, which will be claimable as an ERC-20 token and sold on the in-game exchange for ETH.

There will only be 7 Tier Five Landplots, for each 7 regions of the game. The owner of these land plots will be able to build their own PvP Arena.

There are three ERC 20 resources called “fuels.” These fuels will need to be purchased to use in the main game. Therefore if you can own a fruitful patch of land that generates fuels, you have a valuable resource.

Sadly, the progress you make in Illuvium Zero (during the period of time before the main game releases) will be wiped. Once the main game releases the mini-game will restart (to ensure fair playing field). The only exception will be the blueprints you earn while scanning for Illuvials on lands Tier 1 and above.

Research will be a key part of the Illuvium Zero gameplay experience. The Research activity takes Illuvial bio-data discovered while scanning and turns it into a blueprint. The purpose of the blueprints is to create plans for building new items. The plans define how to combine an Illuvial Skin NFT with an item NFT and Fuel in order to make a new NFT.

Research is a difficult activity which can often result in failure.

TOKENOMICS

Tokens are built on the Etherium Blockchain. ILV is a governance token, which gives voting rights to its holders. ILV also enables revenue distribution for Illuvium and Illuvium Zero for any stakers of the token. You can deep dive on discord or at Illuvium’s website, or Medium Blog, or whitepaper. By staking ILV you can choose to get your rewards in ILV again (and restake it), or as sILV.

sILV (synthetic ILV) purchases things in-game (both Illuvium and Illuvium Zero). Its price will exactly match the ILV price. The devs burn an ILV token every time an sILV token is spent. sILV can be used (along with ETH) to buy land in the upcoming land sale. sILV is officially obtained as staking rewards. However, whales have supplied liquidity at a reduced cost on Uniswap. You must make sure you use the correct contract address (read this pinned message on the Discord).

We can buy ILV on Binance and KuCoin. You can swap on Sushi, Uniswap, and more.

Land Sale

The first land sale will take place in November or December 2021. There will be 20,000 Tier 1-5 land for sale in this first Dutch style auction. Dutch style simply means the prices will drop over time until somebody clicks the “buy now” button and pays, including gas fee for the transaction. The sale will take place on a platform hosted on Illuvium.io, not a 3rd party like OpenSea. However, since land is a standard NFT on the Etherium blockchain, it should be simple to buy/sell later on OpenSea and/or other platforms. The community encourages staying on-platform with Illuvium’s upcoming “Illuvidex,” a marketplace being created.

The land can be purchased with sILV or ETH. No mixing and matching. However you will always need ETH to pay the gas fee. The sale will take place over some number of days in various batches. There are no more details yet. There will be more land sales in the future, but we don’t have details on those plans yet.

Before purchase, the devs will release info: Grid position (location on the map), Region it belongs to, and Tier Level. You will not know the exact sites that are on the land, or position of sites on the land. They are generated upon the land NFT minting.

There will be a total of 100,000 land plots sold over 5 land sales. If you miss out on this land sale you will have four more chances to buy land. This could work in your favor, as we cannot know the actual value of the land. Future sales could be priced higher or lower. The truth is we just don’t know.

According to the Discord server, there will be an info package that drops one week before the land sale. Stay tuned at CryptoReleases.com for updates.

The game will be playable on iOS, Android, and PC Servers.
